Featuring, Sarah Fournier, Livermore Falls High School, English Teacher

After graduating from Livermore Falls High School in 2000 and from Bates
College in 2004, Sarah Fournier channeled her English degree into a
position in the Governor's Office, where she worked as the Deputy Director
of Constituent Services. After a year in that position, Fournier switched
gears and began teaching high school English at her alma mater. For the
past two years, she has participated in a literacy initiative at LFHS,
working as part of a cohort under the umbrella of the Western Maine
Education Collaborative. Sarah's article on teaching high school students about visual representation follows.
